European History Scope and Sequence

We are excited to have two European History resources!

Our original resource, The Kind Kingdom Volume 1 includes an overview of the Middle Ages through the Cold War with monthly themes and the beautiful series, The Chronicles of Narnia.

Our newest resource, The Kind Kingdom Volume 2 is perfect for families who have already completed The Kind Kingdom, or who want a resource for older elementary and junior high students to use independently. It includes heart warming literature, readings from Our Island Story, a Botany study, and several new art and poetry pieces to study.

The themes overlap so you could use Kind Kingdom Volume 1 in your morning time, and let your older child do the Volume 2 readings on their own, or you could use it as the year long resource for your whole family. Volume 2 has several new poems, art pieces and recipes, new literature, and new science activities. You can find the full book lists for both resources here;

I have been looking into your curriculum for about a week, since a friend said she was going to use it. I have 7,5, and 4, year olds. We are looking into Kind Kingdom (I would do Peaceful Pioneers but we have done American history the last two years through a different curriculum and I’m ready for something different). My question is with the Grimm’s fairy tales, does it have to be that specific copy/author. I know the Grimm’s fairy tales are a little scarier than normal. I’m nervous about reading them with my kids? Is that book a good version? I can’t find it at my library or through the interlibrary so I would have to buy it. I want to make sure it’s a good purchase before I do. Thank you for your time! Cheryl

Is there a printable booklist for volume 1 available somewhere?
