2024 Christmas Gift List for Homeschool Families

2024 Christmas Gift List for Homeschool Families

Christmas shopping can be so overwhelming but this gift guide will help you streamline gift giving so you can enjoy our Holiday Book Flood with your family.

I’ve got seven children, and my family is expanding to the next generation. It’s a joy to delight my family, but I also don’t want to spend all my time perusing the internet. I’d rather be there with them, playing games, making crafts, and baking together.

I’m guessing you feel the same way, so I’ve gathered a few gift ideas that I hope can help make this season easier for you.

For Mom

A Heartwarming Book- Favorites from previous years include The Awakening of Miss Prim, and Mothering by the Book . This year I'm giving friends Habits for a Sacred Home,  Four Habits of Joy Filled People,  and the Restoration Home Journal of Personal Reflections

Hu Chocolate- My favorite chocolate at discount prices through Thrive Market. Get $30 in store credit through my link.

Bambu Earth Skin Care- I love their Petitgrain Moisturizer and Cleansing Oil. Save 20% with my link.

Restoration Home Hat-I have this organic dad hat in pacific color and I wear it often.

Homeschool Planner- This best selling homeschool planner contains 12 undated months with a weekly planner, student schedules, goal setting, attendance sheet, book log, field trip planner, meal planning, and much more.

Peaceful Press Tote-This generously sized organic cotton tote is perfect for library runs or co-op days.

Journaling Bible- I love noting favorite verses in the margin of my journaling Bible.

For Dad

An Audible Membership- We all want our husbands to read more, but sometimes listening is the better method of expanding their literary awareness. My husband’s favorite audible books are The Deerslayer, Mr Midshipman Hornblower, and The Wind in the Willows.

Ferro Rod- This would be fun for older sons as well. It’s a firestarter as well as a survival bracelet.

Inversion Table- This is on our wish list. I tried out my parent’s inversion table and was amazed, and I think my husband would appreciate the relief to his back.

Pranamat-  This massage mat has been proven to reduce pain and makes a great gift for dad.

For the Preschooler

Yoto Player- This is a great tool for more read alouds in your homeschool.

Baskets- Preschoolers love carrying things, and a basket is a perfect reservoir for dolls, stuffed animals, and other favorite toys.

Rocker or Wobble Board- These toys are perfect for developing core strength.

Wooden Musical Instruments- I don’t like battery-operated toys partly because of the noise, but a little music-making, while we sing, can be fun.

Peg Game- This Montessori peg and screwdriver set is perfect for fine motor skills and developing little builders.

Toy Animals- Schleich is my favorite brand for quality animal figurines, and this baby elephant and giraffe would make a great start to your collection.

For the Students

Pioneer Girl Costume- For families using The Playful Pioneers, this pioneer costume would be a sweet gift.

Butter Churn- Pioneer kids would love making their own butter with this beautiful little churn.

Knight Costume- While studying the Kind Kingdom you could gift a knight costume to help your children act out the stories they are listening to.

Survival Kit- This is for the mature child or teen but would be an awesome alternative to video game consoles and much more useful. It’s a great gift to inspire adventure as you study jungle missionaries in The Precious People.

Watercolor Paints- This is my favorite portable watercolor set for nature journaling.

Watercolor Journal- This 140# watercolor journal is perfect for taking on nature outings.

Chemistry Set- This kit includes projects that would dazzle any child.

Books- The Peaceful Press book lists have amazing suggestions for all ages. Visit our Amazon storefront for the lists or download them as a PDF on our website.

What’s on your Christmas list? I love getting ideas from our friends!

With any shopping, I do my best to buy local, or from fair trade sellers, but I’ve linked to my Amazon shop here, and I hope you can find the gifts that you need to buy with the least amount of money and stress, so Christmas can be peaceful and bright for your family.
