I have a 4 and 6 year old. I'm uncertain exactly how to apply the chores as there are sooo many of them. I have them all cut out and laminated. I set up there daily chores that they need to complete for that week, some a very consistent and don't change week by week, others are flexible. But now I have all od these small little squares to navigate through and just unsure if it's creating more work for me in the long run on top of all the other things we have going on. I'm wondering how others have used these? When do others do chores at their homes? Other than the application being difficult they are awfully cute.
I’m loving this for my preschool age daughter. It is a nicely paced curriculum covering the different subjects in a gentle way that is not too rigorous or ridiculous for children this age, but still has challenging content. My daughter loves it as well, and I had no idea that I could find read aloud for picture books online! I’m a happy mama.
This is great for my non-reader! She has enjoyed moving the chore cards from one chart to her “done” chart. I feel like so many things are covered in this pack. Only thing I would have liked is more spaces for chores/routines instead of 6. Overall it’s great.
I have enjoyed using the nourishing nature curriculum with my children. I love the nature based learning and that I can include both children (ages 2 & 4 soon to be 3 & 5). We've done a lot of Montessori style learning so this was a great 'next step'. The activities are engaging and fun and allow for creativity.
We have really enjoyed using this plan. My son is very engaged.
